๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Switzerland

In Switzerland invoices and receipts are governed by the Mehrwertsteuergesetz (short MWSTG).

It requires that invoices contain the following information:

  • name and location of the merchant issuing the receipt
  • the tax id of the merchant
  • name and location of the service recipient
  • date or period of service provision
  • type, subject and scope of the service
  • the amount due
  • the applicable tax rate and the tax amount owed from the fee

For receipts information about the recipient is not required.

To comply with this regulation we provide the com.warrify.ch.mwstg extension.
